Twitter Updates for 2008-12-23
  • Best Thai I’ve ever had in NY? Pongsri on 23rd and 7th. Their red curry is divine. It’s like crack. #
  • @chrisbillett I try to go there once a week anyway. So, yes. #
  • I hate when I write part of a story in my head walking around, happy with it, but I forget some of the particulars by the time I get home. #
  • @edenrobins I feel the same way about haiku. And pink eye? Ear infection? What’s next? Chickenpox? #
  • I might just be the stupidest person on the planet. And now my gifts to my family are potentially out of play. #
  • I am mildly freaking out. I have to wait until 11 to see if someone can help me open a lock else it’s to Brooklyn and back as quick as I can #
  • @2muchexposition What kind of Xmas music? #
  • Man is supposed to be coming to save Xmas. Then it’s a Very Jersey holiday… #
  • The lock is open. The holiday is back on track. It’s a freaking Xmas miracle! #
  • @johnjosephadams Trying it out now. #
  • Argh. Story ballooned from 4500 words to 5500 and 5K is the limit. Must…cut…ruthlessly. #
  • God I want to leave now but I have to wait for a ride. Flashbacks to high school. AND I’m even in Jersey. #
  • @johnjosephadams yes, twitterfon. I’m quite attached to my uvula. #
  • T minus 30 minutes. Then it’s family, beer, and videogames. #
  • Does anyone know someone who has an actual catch phrase? Like they did in the comics? ‘Great Caesar’s Ghost’ or something like that? #
  • Can you tell I’m just killing time? Treading water until I’m rescued from corporate servitude. For now, at least. #
  • @pablod I do appreciate inserting the word ‘mutants’ into every day speech. Though hopefully the radiation kind rather than the X-men kind. #
  • Okay – signing off for now. It’s time I blew this joint. Goodbye, work. I will not miss you… #

Raining Fire – Out now!

Raining Fire, the third and final book in the Ben Gold series, was released on July 18, 2017. This book concludes the story begun in Falling Sky and Rising Tide. Publisher’s Weekly said, “Khanna wraps up his postapocalyptic adventure series with a capable page-turner…the airships, slavers, cannibalistic Ferals, and visceral action scenes make this a worthy culmination to the series.”

Available at Amazon and Barnes & Noble now.

Rising Tide -Out now!

Rising Tide, the sequel to Falling Sky, was released on October 6, 2015. Publisher's Weekly said, "Khanna crafts a terrifyingly dismal picture of the future, raising the stakes by gradually stripping Ben of friends and support while throwing him into increasingly dire situations. His worldbuilding remains solid and unsettling, and he never loses sight of the human element. The cliffhanger ending is sure to leave readers on the edges of their seats, panting for resolution."

Falling Sky – Out now!

Falling Sky, my first novel, came out October 7, 2014 from Pyr. It's an adventure story set in a post-apocalyptic future with airships. Publisher's Weekly called it a "solid and memorable debut" while Library Journal gave it a starred review and named it Debut of the Month. For more information, please click here.
