It’s a new year and yet I was remiss in not posting about some things that happened last year, particularly related to Falling Sky:
- I appeared on the Functional Nerds podcast with John Anealio and Patrick Hester in December. If you missed it, check it out here. We talk a bit about holiday movies, but hopefully that won’t bother you seeing as it’s after the holidays.
- I also read at the KGB Bar in December as part of the KGB Fantastic Fiction Reading Series along with Steven Gould. Pictures can be seen here and an audio recording of the evening is available on the Fantastic Fiction website. I’ve been attending KGB readings for about 10 years now and it was a dream come true to read there myself.
- A little further back, in October, I was a guest on (brilliant author) Fran Wilde’s podcast, Cooking the Books. We talk a bit about Falling Sky and Twinkies and the website includes a recipe that might exist in the world of the novel.

Rising Tide, the sequel to Falling Sky, was released on October 6, 2015. 
Falling Sky, my first novel, came out October 7, 2014 from Pyr. It's an adventure story set in a post-apocalyptic future with airships.
