No more Twitter feed

As some may have noticed, I will no longer be having my Twitter feed show up as posts. The main reason for this is that it simply bugged me. When I looked at the site, it looked like it was just a list of my Twitter ramblings and for that people could just read my Twitter page. Additionally, I didn’t want all of my content to be in that form. It’s there for people who use it (or are interested). I use this for longer form expressions and that’s the way I want to keep it.

No one asked me to do this, it was simply time to change things.

This will hopefully be accompanied by an increase in posts here, but more on that to come shortly.

The new site is live!

After about a week of trying to get things together, FermentedAdventures.com is now live. It’s not exactly how I planned it (I’m crap at dealing with WordPress Themes), but it’s simple and that’s okay.

Thanks to Allyson for designing the logo. I would have been lost without her.

If you have an interest in wine and beer, please check it out. I’ll be catching up with some old posts there in the next few weeks and then onto new adventures.

New blog coming

So some of you already know that I’m working on setting up a new blog to focus on my alcohol-related adventures. Unfortunately, though I have almost everything in place, I’ve had difficulty getting it to look exactly how I wanted and my skills with WordPress and CSS are sadly lacking.

But I hope to make headway this week and possibly weekend so expect an official announcement (where I can point people there) soon.

In the meantime, I hope to post more here, too, and maybe take down my Twitter feed. I get sick of seeing my front page covered in that untidy scrawl.

[None of this is a joke]

Twitter Updates for 2009-03-31
  • Sometimes reality doesn’t seem that real to me… #
  • @mythopoetica Zeppelins are always awesome. Never forget that. #
  • Just saw a homeless guy dig something the size of a pen cap out of his nose. I think. #
  • I feel a few hairs away from pulling back from writing from a while. The scene as well. It can be very wearying. #
  • Is it time to abandon multiple emails to avoid spammers? I feel like having one place to view everything might be the best solution now #

  • @discorobot It’s the best new superhero thing I’ve read in a while. #

Raining Fire – Out now!

Raining Fire, the third and final book in the Ben Gold series, was released on July 18, 2017. This book concludes the story begun in Falling Sky and Rising Tide. Publisher’s Weekly said, “Khanna wraps up his postapocalyptic adventure series with a capable page-turner…the airships, slavers, cannibalistic Ferals, and visceral action scenes make this a worthy culmination to the series.”

Available at Amazon and Barnes & Noble now.

Rising Tide -Out now!

Rising Tide, the sequel to Falling Sky, was released on October 6, 2015. Publisher's Weekly said, "Khanna crafts a terrifyingly dismal picture of the future, raising the stakes by gradually stripping Ben of friends and support while throwing him into increasingly dire situations. His worldbuilding remains solid and unsettling, and he never loses sight of the human element. The cliffhanger ending is sure to leave readers on the edges of their seats, panting for resolution."

Falling Sky – Out now!

Falling Sky, my first novel, came out October 7, 2014 from Pyr. It's an adventure story set in a post-apocalyptic future with airships. Publisher's Weekly called it a "solid and memorable debut" while Library Journal gave it a starred review and named it Debut of the Month. For more information, please click here.
